2006 Colours (lights and video)
|
This children's play had its premiere in october 2006. The story is about the lonely Black and the beautiful White becoming friends and giving life to all the colours. Värvid ('Colours') is performed on the smallest stage of the theatre, hence the light design is very simple - three profiles and seven PAR-cans. To make the magic, I added video projection as a special effect. I got lots of freedom from the director and lots of feedback from the set designer - thank you both for that! It is rare nowadays to feel really motivated about a piece you are working on, but this kind of plays were the very reason I want to work with puppet theatre. Directed by Maria Usk Set design: Rosita Raud Sound design: Mari Amor Light design and video: Johanna-Mai Vihalem Cast: Taavi Tõnisson & Laura Nõlvak Photos by: Priit Grepp |
